When I became involved as a designer with this remarkable kitchen remodel, the counters and cabinetry had been chosen.  My design task was to find a wood floor to compliment the light cabinetry and medium/dark tones in the Lagos Blue Caesarstone counters .  Many options available through LIVINGREEN were considered.  My client’s ultimately chose this beautiful, custom wood floor created from FSC certified hickory-pecan and finished with eco-friendly stains.  The kitchen functions beautifully, feels fresh, modern, and timeless,  and fits with the architectural style of this 1980’s California ranch house.

A couple from Culver City came to Livingreen to get help remodeling the master bath cabimets and countertops of their townhouse.  With the help of our staff, they chose Icestone, recycled glass countertops, Caroma sinks and cabinets made from FSC Certified wood with low VOC stain.  A Livingreen sales representative helped manage the selection, purchase and delivery of these materials, in addition to helping coordinate the fabrication and installation of the countertops, sinks and cabinets.

The couple was very happy with the results and told us, “We love our new bathroom.  The countertops are a work of art and the soft close door hinges on our cabinets are just plain cool.  Thank you Livingreen!”

Icestone countertops are made from recycled glass, shell mixed with cement to create a highly durable, beautiful and sustainable concrete surface.

Downtown Los Angeles is becoming more and more of a bustling community with projects springing up all over town. One in particular is a residential studio loft right in the heart of the city. The small loft space was furnished and designed by Alternative Design Group for one of there clients and painted in AFM Safecoat Paints from Livingreen in Benjamin Moore colors that the skilled Livingreen paint experts matched perfectly. Due to the poor ventilation conventional paints would leave a robust odor for days. AFM Safecoat paint turned out to be the perfect paint to use. “Once it dried, I couldn’t even tell that I painted,” said Abraham, the contractor on duty, who had never used the paint before. “[Safecoat] went on smoothly and had great coverage.”
